Director of human resources

Reporting to the CEO , the HR director’s main role is to contribute effectively to the company’s HR issues by being involved in the optimization and implementation of HR processes.

Functions and responsibilities

  • Organizational Development: Management of strategic issues in a growing technological environment, support management in change management and in Identify opportunities and challenges in terms of work efficiency, mobilization and optimization of human potential, propose creative solutions while promoting the development of people.
  • Recruitment: identify needs with department managers, ensure recruitment, lead and coordinate the integration and
    and coordinate the integration and follow-up of probationary periods for new employees.
  • Payroll, benefits and subsidies management: prepare payroll, follow up on the allocation and management of benefits (modifications and changes related to insurance files, pension plan, EAP) and ensure the updating of information in the payroll software, proceed with subsidy applications for eligible employees.
  • Worker’s compensation management
  • Competency development: coordinate and follow up on internal and external training needs, collaborate in the definition of competencies and the annual indexation and global compensation exercise.
  • Contribute to the implementation and evolution of HR policies, procedures and programs in compliance with governmental obligations: make them accessible to employees and advise on their application, if necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources
  • CHRP designation or in the process of obtaining it – an asset
  • Strong interest in technology companies.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience (training, generalist…)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows environment
  • Mastery of Nethris payroll software – an asset
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French
  • Good command of spoken and written English
