TECHNICAL SUPPORT AGENT

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Technical Support Agent position consists of interacting with customers to resolve their requests and providing technical support to installers in the context of GPS data development, cellular communications, integration with external devices and Bluetooth communications. He manages the realization of several projects at once and assists in production.

Functions and responsibilities

Technical support component

Assist customers in providing a customer experience of the highest standard.

  • Diagnose customer requests through a process of diagnosis and problem resolution.
  • Support installers in the deployment of the Astus solution by performing the appropriate tests and configurations and ensuring the proper functioning of our products
  • Participate in quality assurance testing and perform hardware and software product testing and validation.
  • Document bugs and problems encountered in a clear and concise manner and support the development team in identifying causes.
  • Take technical calls from customers and try to help them in the use of Astus tools

Production component

  • Follow the assembly steps of the GPS modules (Assembly, test and quality)
  • Validate the parameterization and configuration of the electronic modules according to the customers’ requirements.
  • Prepare, ship and follow up on the delivery of local and international orders.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • DEC in computer technology, computer systems, electronics or any other related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the automotive field
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to weigh the pros and cons of alternative solutions
  • Good at managing time and the time of others.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Work with thoroughness and methodology
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong teamwork, cooperation and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies, techniques and tools
  • Rigor, autonomy, efficiency under pressure.
